The Crowdfunding
Radical Reimaginations of the Futures was created through collective effort, and we want its future to be shaped by collective support.
Crowdfunding allows us to build this project in a way that reflects our values: transparency, shared responsibility, and equitable conditions for everyone involved.
If we reach our crowdfunding goal, we will offer free fellowships to selected participants of the Cohort.
You participation to the crowdfunding does not equal to an application to participate to our cohort. Depending on the total amount raised we will determine how many seats and in which capacity the participation to the cohort will be provided.
Where the money goes
Creating the conditions for regenerative, collective learning and imagination requires care, time, and resources. Because we are committed to creating equitable conditions for both organisers and participants, we have developed a transparent budget that reflects the real cost of this work.

FAQ
Why are you crowdfunding?
Radical Reimaginations of the Futures was born through collective effort, and we want its economics to reflect the same spirit. Rather than relying on a single funder or expensive participation fees, we are inviting the community to help bring this project to life while ensuring fair compensation for everyone involved and equitable conditions for participants.
What will my contribution support?
Your contribution helps cover the real costs of creating and running the first Radical Reimaginations of the Futures Cohort, including programme design, facilitation, guest contributors, coordination, communications, and the infrastructure needed to support the learning journey. You can explore the full budget on this page.
Why are you sharing your budget?
We believe transparency is part of building trust. Creating meaningful spaces for learning, imagination, and collaboration requires care, time, and resources. By openly sharing our budget, we hope to make visible the work that often remains unseen.
What happens if the crowdfunding goal is reached?
The minimum crowdfunding goal will allow us to bring the first Cohort to life. Any additional funding will be reinvested into Radical Reimaginations of the Futures by organising more online and in-person cohorts, and by supporting the production and dissemination of the manifestations created by participants—so that these visions can reach communities, spark conversations, and inspire tangible change.
Can I support the project even if I don't want to join the Cohort?
Yes. Every contribution helps create the conditions for Radical Reimaginations of the Futures to grow and reach more people. You are welcome to support the project whether or not you intend to participate in the Cohort.
Do I have to contribute financially to apply for the Cohort?
This depends on the participation model after the crowdfunding campaign. Submitting an application does not commit you to any payment. Once the crowdfunding campaign reaches the minimum amount needed to launch the Cohort, we will confirm whether a participation fee will apply and, if so, how much it will be.
How can I help besides contributing financially?
Sharing the campaign with your networks is one of the most valuable ways to support Radical Reimaginations of the Futures. Every conversation and every introduction helps this project reach people who may want to join or contribute.
Who will collect and manage the funds?
Design Reparations will act as the fiscal sponsor of Radical Reimaginations of the Futures and will be responsible for collecting and managing all funds raised through the crowdfunding campaign. We are committed to full transparency, and information about how the funds are allocated and used will be available upon request.
